AMT is bringing back the 3in1! Customizing Boat. This summer have endless fun by building this kit 3 different ways – an Inboard Runabout, a Sea Going Dragster or a Custom Speedboat. Features include two detailed motor options, parts injected in white, chrome parts, hinged engine doors and custom fins. The included trailer features metal axles, rubber tires, hubcaps and optional fender skirts. The decals are remastered for better fit and realism, and include new decals to match the vintage box art that were unavailable in previous releases. The packaging includes vibrant, vintage graphics and a full color tray displaying photos of the 3 completed versions.

A fun build for all ages . I have 3 of them ( 2 older versions and 1 newer version ) and I love the updated model decal sheet . The details are above average and the fit of all parts is great . Little to no extra “flash” on the parts that needs to be removed . I’m a seasoned modeler , so I have chopped off the old hitch set up on the trailer and added an updated ( hitch , wench , and nose rest ) version without any issues . The only 2 things still missing from this kit to make it complete is , the trailers tail-lights ( brake lights ) and the licence plate w/ plate decal . The straight 6 engine version offered , is a Chris Craft Hercules KLC 6 Cylinder 1953 . Build it mild or GO WILD !
