OK truck fans, get your glue, knives and other essential tools ready! After waiting for over 30 years, it’s finally on the way. The Kenworth Conventional W-925 is on the boat and will be available in about a month for your building pleasure. She’s fully loaded, with over 300 parts —including retooled sleeper and battery box parts. Also included are 3 large chrome trees with plated wheels, exhaust, lights, rear fenders, bumper, grille, air horns and so much more! To top it off, the kats at AMT have also thrown in an expanded decal sheet with new and improved graphics, so you can take your build to a higher level.

Hoping for a ” Movin On ” version in the next release…..
With the license issue hit and miss , might not happen. But you can’t do an accurate Movin On truck with the kit anyway, so let’s save the reissues for different versions of the truck with added or retooled parts of the stupendously priced variants!
I know that this will be a huge seller for Round2, this has been for years a much requested kit for reissue! I would hope that we will see the other two spinoffs,The Challenge Mixer and the Alaskan Hauler, what do you think Round 2?

How about bringing back the International Transtar F-4270 and the Transtar 2 Eagle COE?
I second that motion.
The first “rig” I ever built was the F4270 with a Sunoco Chrome Tanker. Actually, my Dad did most of the “building.” I was in charge of locating the parts, breaking them off the runners, and sanding off the burrs.
Had to start somewhere at age 7.
I’m wondering about the existence of these molds, though. Both the F4270 and the original COE4070 were “updated” to later versions. The Transtar II and the 4300 with sleeper have been re-issued within the last 10-15 years. Not so with the original kits. We’re the original molds modified in such a way as to be “non-recoverable?”
These “Blueprint Replicas” were really nice kits. Sharper detail and better parts fit than the AMT offerings of the day (no offense, AMT), and they featured steerable front wheels and were molded in color. Would love to see these originals come back.
